Scratch!Scratch!Scratch!Scratch!Scratch!Scratch!Scratch! You thought it was gonna say Scratch! again idiot. O yeah your mom's HOT!! Vestax WebPage The term "Turntablism" was first coined in 1995 by DJ Babu (Beat Junkies) to describe a form of advanced turntable music stemming from Hip-Hop DJ'ing.
I think that I am going to make this site all about scratching just because that is my favorite thing to do on my turntables. There are many many types of tricks and scratches that can be performed. There is about 60 or more to be more precise. Some of the basics scratches and ones that a person that has never been on a turntable before is most dominant is called the baby scratch which includes a forward and then a back movement. Some of the things that you have to be able to do or learn in time is you have to have very very good hand eye coordination and you have to be the man with fast right hand.(or whatever hand you hit the crossfader with, for me its my right)

This Guy right here is another element of hip-hop besides a DJ and that's a breakdancer. The breakdancer is a type of dancing using your whole body and doing crazy things with them. Another Element of Hip hop is the emcee thats pretty much like any one who can rap. Some of my favorite rappers are eyedea, brother ali, aesop rock,i self divine of the Micranots and Madson of the unkown prophets.
